Sam Buchanan joined Keefer Financial in June 2022. Sam is a licensed Financial Advisor holding both a Series 7 and a Series 66 license through LPL Financial. Raised right here in Fulton County, Sam graduated from Spoon River Valley Senior High School in 2015. Sam then went on to study at Western Illinois University where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in both Accountancy and Business Management in 2019. While attending Western Illinois University, Sam received the Dean’s List Award and was actively involved in the Student Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants. Sam was also actively involved in the Macomb community, setting time aside to volunteer for the university, local food pantries as well as various outreach programs. Sam then went on to gain 3 years of experience in the financial industry before joining our team. Sam brings industry experience, financial knowledge, and solid investment strategies to Central Illinois. Sam resides in Canton with his wife Makenzie and is looking forward to becoming active in his community.
